Is any item of value to your dog. This could be, treats, food, water, walking fast, being outside, playing games, and most importantly your attention.
Results in an increase in the future frequency of a behavior due to the addition of a resource immediately following a behaviour. An example would be asking your dog to sit, and giving them a treat for the sit.

An exmple of this is the seatbelt buzzer in your car. The buzzer sound is removed when the behaviour of putting your seatbelt on occurs increasing the likelihood that you will put your seatbelt on again. |
